And that would not work properly either. I believe what he did was to
buffer with a negative size to get a smaller
polygon whose border was then painted with a graphic stroke.
But to get the same effect with lines, and a proper one, one would need a
"offset line", which is not a single
side buffer (as already discussed many times)
