What kernel are you running?
You need at least 2.6.22 to have signalfd support, and at least 2.6.27
to have reliable signalfd support. If this is not satisfied, please
either downgrade udev or upgrade your kernel.
I'm surprised to find this system is still running 2.6.25. I'll
upgrade now.
