"Xorg -configure" usually gives a working configuration file. Unless you have nonstandard input devices or if you need to tweak the settings for graphics and display. The good thing is: you only need to set it up once and forget about it. The bad thing is: you only set it up once and forget about it, so the next time you install a new system you have to read the man page again. Cheers, W -- Willie W.
