ZFS shouldn't be considered a FUSE-based filesystem. It should be considered a Solaris filesystem, which is yet to be (??) adequately ported to any other platforms.

ZFS on Linux would be lovely, but Btrfs will do just fine when it's done. IIRC Btrfs boasts some features that ZFS does not, and lacks some others.
