Looks to me like Ultramonkey is just some documentation, and as kashani said, some skeleton configs for Debian. I do not see any actual "ultramonkey software" or even "special sauce". Quite useful documentation though. I do load balancing on Gentoo to Gentoo, pretty much all I needed to get it going was to install heartbeat with USE=ldirectord, compile the appropriate kernel modules, then setup ldirectord. http://www.linuxvirtualserver.org/Documents.html#manuals is particularly helpful, if a bit out of date.
