I am using reiserfs on / and /home and have not experienced any problems with the gentoo-sources-2.6.30-r5/6. So unless you've left some reiserfs fs drivers out of the kernel I am not sure why you may be experiencing problems. This is my / mounting entry in fstab: /dev/hda3 / reiserfs noatime 1 1 HTH. -- Regards, Mick
