Ugh, that's quite disturbing. All these version scheme dances are anything but practical. If there's no new release we should be using 9.8-r1 or whatever fits, just like in any other package. Otherwise, when .31 hits the tree we are going to need to mask ati-drivers and unmask that concrete version. -- Jesús Guerrero
