I think vmware server cannot by default access USB devices plugged into the host, but you can possibly edit the vmx file to enable it. I think it is something like: usb.present = "TRUE" usb.generic.autoconnect = "FALSE" But i don't have vmware server to test it. PC Suite worked fine for me in vmware workstation. Depending on exactly what you need to accomplish with PC Suite, there may be alternative methods of doing it without windows.
