Those 3 seconds could be vital. If you need to ssh into the control machine for a nuclear power station and shut down the reactor, those 3 seconds could be the difference between salvation and TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt(tm).... -- alan dot mckinnon at gmail dot com
