[gentoo-user] ksoftirqd goes nuts during rsync

I'm rsyncing some large files across my wireless network and this
causes ksoftirqd to take up all of the CPU it can.  Can this be fixed?
 Would it be fixed if I were running the rsync daemon instead of
logging in?
