In my case, X dosn't work with 2.6.27, only with 2.6.26, except it doesn't like the Windows MENU key and refuses to pass it to fvwm like it used to. Xorg 1.4 was fine, the upgrade to 1.5.2 broke some keys which xsetkbmap fixed, ecept it doesn't pass MENU thru as it used to, and booting in 2.6.27 borks X entirely: Fatal server error: Cannot run in framebuffer mode. Please specify busIDs for all framebuffer devices It doesn't look like this is your problem, but maybe it is related. -- ... _._. ._ ._. . _._. ._. ___ .__ ._. . .__. ._ .. ._.
