I'm not sure this will help but I have app-cdr/cdrtools-2.01.01_alpha42 installed and it appears to show the mkisofs man page. You may want to emerge that. I don't think you can have cdrkit and cdrtools installed at the same time tho. If it helps any, I can burn both CDs and DVDs with what I have installed.
