I said: "I like to end up with a raw/toc pair of files to act as a raw backup of the CD, and a series of individual FLAC files for each track." I like having this backup because of the potential issues introduced by having one file per track. For example: Where does the "hidden" track before track #1 go? Should it be prepended to file #1? If so, what if you just want to hear track #1 and not the hidden track? I like to have a raw backup of the entire CD to avoid issues brought about by splitting 1 thing into 15 things. - Grant
