Thanks, but it doesn't work here. I must be doing something wrong.Now, I have deleted /etc/localtime /etc/conf.d/hwclock contains clock="local" (which is recommended for a dual boot system with Windows) For /etc/timezone I have tried both Europe/Berlin and alternatively "Europe/Berlin" In both cases I get GMT instead of my local time here.
