OK, I looked closer and saw some things I didn't see before. I think you have a mixed <arch> and ~<arch> system. sound-juicer is pulling in gst-plugins-meta-0.10-r2 (unstable) which pulls in gst-plugins-ugly-0.10.6 (stable) which pulls in gstreamer-0.10.14 (stable) You need to get everything that goes with gstreamer either stable or unstable, as this mixture doesn't work. Either: Convert the box to ~<arch> or keyword gstreamer and ALL it's plugins unstable in package.keywords or remove gst-plugins-meta from package.keywords -- Alan McKinnon alan dot mckinnon at gmail dot com -- gentoo-user@lists.gentoo.org mailing list
