Hello list, a few days ago my creative urge forced me to learn python. As a first step I wanted to control ecasound by script. What a pity that it doesn't work.

In that sense my system seems to be consistence. Should glibc be downgraded? Wrong USE variables? eix glibc shows: 2.7-r2(2.2)(13:09:03 27.03.2008)(gd glibc-omitfp nls -debug -glibc-compat20 -hardened -multilib -profile -selinux -vanilla) On my 32bit centrino laptop with latest gentoo python+ecasound work fine.
