As far as i known this script is debian specific. So I don't think you will find it in any package. But I also don't see what it's good for. What do you mean with 'polish'? I have to entries in my grub.conf: One pointing to /boot/vmlinuz the other poiting to /boot/vmlinuz.old (and related symnlinks).
