I won't be able to help beyond that, but I'm sure others will. I remember having a hard time with vsftpd and anonymous too. But it suddenly hit me after messing with it for a good while that I had no need of anonymous since its on a protected home lan so just went with -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
