Does this mean that if my hypothetical imaginary friend were to install Vista on VMWare (I assume that this is VMWare Workstation, not VMWare Player, right?) and take a snapshot of it, then it will always stay active? Or will Vista fire up, read the current date and use that to determine if the trial period has expired? Just curious. -- Regards, Mick
