FYI Beryl with AIGLX works brilliantly on it too :) I've been looking into Beryl as well. As soon as I get gnome fired up, I'll do some more emerging... I'm looking into the possibility of setting up another gentoo box for a friend of mine who wants to learn about Linux "from the inside out" (as he puts it). I'm considering just giving him the minimal install CD and a link to the handbook (which is where I started), and let him go to town.
