You haven't really made it clear whether you meant mod_proxy (which as kashani said is part of apache itself) or mod_proxy_html. /usr/sbin/apxs2 is part of apache-2.x so does the file exist? Please post the output of: # ls /usr/sbin/apxs2 # emerge -vp apache If apxs2 exists you may just need `env-update && source /etc/profile`. -- Bo Andresen
