You can mask the older version of package. I had the same problem. And I decided not to upgrade :) dbus-1.0.2 killed some libs, and there were a LOT of packages which needed to be recompiled, and also I see no advantages of dbus-1.0.2. -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
