Thanks for all the info.  I really have no knowledge on these things
except that they record like a CR-RW and they store a LOT more data. 
Other than that, the dvd-rw, dvd+rw  dvd-ram and all the other stuff is
very muddy here.  I just don't want to buy one and it not support
something popular.  I don't want to get something the equivilent of a
beta type VCR.  If there is a VHS model out there that is what I need.

I am looking at these right now.  Can someone help me pick from these
four?  I don't see much difference myself.

Also, correct me if I am wrong here, these will still burn CD-R and
CD-RWs right?  I may use my current CD-RW in another machine or
something is why I ask.
