[gentoo-user] Esound emerge error

I can't emerge -u esound. The following error:

libosp.so.4 doesn't exist in my system, but there is  libosp.so.5. This is not the first time that a problem like this occurs. I was having similar problems with libdirectfb and a bunch of other multimedia applications.
