Do you have ModulePath settings in /etc/X11/xorg.conf? If so delete them or make sure they point to directories under /usr/lib/xorg/modules. Otherwise post your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file. -Richard -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
