A simple search for "evolution icons" in the gentoo forums revealed me this: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-461365.html There you find the solution I told you before ... In the bug-entry at bugs.gentoo.org which Richard Fish brought to info you'll find an even better solution: echo 'include "/home/<USERNAME>/.gtkrc.mine"' >> ~/.gtkrc-2.0 echo 'gtk-icon-theme-name="gnome"' >> ~/.gtkrc.mine Then it will not be overwritten if you change themes or fonts ...
