Generally I find that I want to cut at a major transition - eg the adverts coming on. At a major transition there is usually an I-Frame.
Maybe it is the german tv as for many movies i have recorded i have to cut on B- and P-Frames to avoid pictures from the adverts. -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
