Hi! After a sync today, I ran "emerge -Duvat world" and see for example:
[nomerge ] dev-perl/DBD-mysql-3.0004 USE="-minimal perl%" [nomerge ] dev-perl/DBI-1.51 USE="-minimal perl%" [nomerge ] dev-perl/PlRPC-0.2018 USE="-minimal perl%" [nomerge ] dev-perl/Net-Daemon-0.39 USE="-minimal perl%" The "perl" USE flag is new. What does it do? [16:34:41 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~] $ euse -i perl global use flags (searching: perl) ************************************************************ [+ D ] perl - Adds support/bindings for the Perl language. local use flags (searching: perl) ************************************************************ no matching entries found Hm. I don't understand. Add support/binding for the Perl language in Perl modules? What would be built, if the perl Module Net-Daemon-0.39 had no perl support or binding?
