Can anyone point me to a howto or advice for the following? On my gentoo box I have:
- ppp dialup link to the internet (rural living is not very broadband friendly yet) - wireless access point on the ethernet interface I'd like to use this box as a router so that any wireless traffic through the WAP is routed appropriately between ppp0 and eth0. I selected Advanced Routing in the kernel (2.6.17-r1), and have /proc fs and sysctl support. I also turned on forwarding using echo "1" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward What more needs doing? Thanks!
