With the growth that Gentoo is experiencing it gets harder and harder to make everybody happy. Those incidents mentioned are just some people who felt they had to make a lot of noise while leaving... For a long time now more people has joined than left and there are aproximately 300 Gentoo developers right now. Really, there is nothing to worry about...
