Look at the ebuild for libstdc++-v3. It actually builds gcc-3.3 with C++ support, and then pulls the libstdc++.so library out of that. As we've already discussed, gcc uses itself to build itself, so you actually built libstdc++-v3 with gcc-3.3. -Richard -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
