That's Ctrl+L. Under Settings > Configure Shortcuts add Ctrl+K as
an alternate to Clear Location Bar.

Ctrl+A is Select All, and here puts the cursor at the end. In the
Control Center under Regional > Keyboard Shortcuts > Application
Shortcuts > Navigation you could define Ctrl+A as an alternate for
Beginning of Line. And save the scheme. Or maybe you still have a
saved scheme.

Ctrl+L does not copy. But when placing the cursor in the location
bar with Alt+O, the full address gets selected, Ctrl+X will then
delete and copy it. You could define Ctrl+K as an alternate.
