In comment #18 someone says that Nvidia won't release a newer legacy driver set any time soon, whereas in the nVNews-forum someone from NVIDIA Corporation announced that an updated legacy graphics driver is planned for the near future. That one should match 1.0-8756. Sounds pretty bad and good at the same time. Still: isn't someone of the Gentoo-guys (experienced in patching) able to patch the old 6629 for the time being or do I simply underestimate the effort? Sigi -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
