I just set up xdm and gdm and xdm is coming up fine but I never see gdm. I followed the instructions here:
http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Xfce4 and created the specified file here: /etc/X11/gdm/Sessions/xfce42.desktop although I think I did that before starting xdm for the first time if that makes any difference. Did I put that file in the right place? These files already exist: /etc/X11/dm/Sessions/xfce.desktop /usr/share/xsessions/xfce.desktop - Grant -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
