Thanks a lot.

I've been thinking a bit lately about the proper balance to strike
between keeping things minimal and making things functional.  HAL is a
perfect example.  I don't have any use for it at the moment, but when
somebody plugs a new device into XP and it immediately starts working
without any configuration or driver installation, well....
