You're right. It works fine. But I remember that for another package (I don't remember which) which file was also not good, emerge give me a error message saying that MD5 was bad, and didn't try to download it. Moreover, why 'emerge <package> digest' try to download the file instead of creating the corresponding digest file? So it works, but I still don't understand how emerge deals it! Thanks again G.
