Hi, Lacking any experience with EM64T, but just checked and there's a profile for ia64 (think it's the same). Check (look at) "/usr/portage/profiles/default-linux/ia64" for a 'profile'. PS:there's also a minimal-install-CD.2006.0 & stages for ia64. HTH.Rumen
