Mick, Syslog gives good info, but what we are referring to is under No.5 "Tips & Tricks" here: http://www.gentoo.org/news/en/gwn/20050822-newsletter.xml Although it says all the boot messages as seen on the sreen will be logged into /var/log/boot.msg, they aren't all there. -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
