Hello, this is my frist mail to this list.
I am on the way to install Gentoo-Linux onto my HD...but I don't know what iso image to use. My platform is x86-based, therefore I will use one of the *x86*.iso images. But there is a *2005.1*iso and a *2005.1-ri*iso. Right from the name, I would choose the *r1* image. But it is very much smaller then the other one. So...is this *r1* image an update, a fix, another kind of Gentoo...? What should I take? Another question: To what gentoo-mailinglist I should mail questions concerning hardware ?
