I am running dev-lang/php 5.0.5. I installed phpmyadmin, and when I first go into it, it says I do not have mcrypt installed in my php. How do I enable mcrypt in PHP? I tried adding the use flag of mcrypt, but that does not seem to do anything. What am I missing?
