No need to guess. 1) These codes are on the web. Google post beep codes. Here's a couple: http://www.pchell.com/hardware/beepcodes.shtml http://www.computerhope.com/beep.htm 2) They are different from one BIOS manufacturer to another. For complex codes make sure you know who's BIOS you are using. 3) 3 beeps is usually the keyboard. You probably pulled it a bit from the socket.
