Is anyone aware of any possible replacements for lm_sensors?

I recently upgraded my system, and the new motherboard is an ASRock
X570 Phantom Gaming 4 WiFi ax. I started to update lm_sensors for this
new hardware, but cannot find any appropriate config file. I did find
a file for a different ASRock X570 motherboard which I'm slowly trying
to adapt - but I found it in the Issues area of the lm_sensors GitHub.
Unfortunately, although there has been recent activity in that area
(with no responses from any dev) the last commit looks to have been
four years ago. In addition, one of the two URLs pointed to by the
ebuild is dead. In searching for any relevant info I've found others
asking the same or similar questions, but no answers.
