[gentoo-user] Ripping dvd with k3b requires transcode?

Hi there,

I just tried to rip an old DVD with k3b, but it says that it requires 
transcode for this. AFAIR, transcode has been removed from portage a long time 
ago, so how is this supposed to work now?
