I have a Gigabyte 970 that is only a few years old and it doesn't support it. I wish it did. I'm not sure when mobos started supporting them tho and it may vary from one manufacturer to another. I googled my model number and nvme to find a site that says it isn't supported with mine. You may can do the same. Dale :-) :-)
