Before I upgrade my toy, I'd like to run some benchmarks so I know if it was worth while. It's an hp proliant g7, it currently has 4 opteron 6180 processors, soon to be 4 opteron 6380 chips (also goes from 12 cores per cpu to 16 cores per cpu package. I'm planning to use it for all my compiling and some other projects. Any suggestions besides the Byte benchmarks and compiler runs?
