Is it actually installing these in lib32, or are you just seeing them via the compatibility symlink? The emerge log would tell you where it is installing them, or qlist will as well (from portage-utils). Did you actually switch your profile as instructed? You might want to attach your portage log and output of emerge --info. -- Rich
