I have ASUS GT610 , which is supported by Nvidia 396.18 : https://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/133571 . NB they say '18' is beta & don't list '24' at all : I'm not sure why it's marked stable by Gentoo. > Have you checked that the nvidia module is even being loaded : > 'lsmod | grep nvidia' ?
