Closing log file. All my machines have .icewm/menu as a symlink to .icewm/toolbar. The crashes occur on both 32 and 64-bit installs. After more testing, I've narrowed down the crash-to-text-console a bit... * I can switch workareas OK * I can launch individual apps OK * The crashes always happen when I try to open a submenu. Clicking on the associated icon crashes immediately to text console. The submenu does not open up. Question... has icewm menu syntax changed recently? One thing I noticed that may not be relavant... emerging icewm-1.4.2 allows giflib to be depcleaned. Emerging icewm-1.3.8 pulls in giflib again. I did try icewm-1.4.2, with giflib present, but that did not change anything. "emerge --info icewm" output is attached. -- Walter Dnes <waltd...@waltdnes.org> I don't run "desktop environments"; I run useful applications
