Hi, Have you looked at https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/SSD ? I suppose what exactly you are asking for, is to make new filesystems on your SSD, mount them and then do "fstrim <mountpoint>". But the article suggests to run that regularly rather than once. Hope that helps.
