When I warned (perhaps a bit opaquely) about the issue on palemoon's github, this was exactly the scenario I was thinking about. I got to experience that badness because I unthinkingly reused my bookmark database from Firefox when I started using palemoon. Even if the database schema is the same (and I don't know if it is), that is not sufficient for compatibility: what the code does with the data can make a difference. So make a backup, then go ahead and try it, but don't be too disappointed if it doesn't work. -- Please *no* private Cc: on mailing lists and newsgroups Personal signed mail: please _encrypt_ and sign Don't clear-text sign: http://primate.net/~itz/blog/the-problem-with-gpg-signatures.html
